Richard C. Lasselle was recently appointed Assistant Professor of STEM Education at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Mr. Lasselle has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Education Department since 2006, as an instructor, research project advisor, guest speaker and course developer.

Erica Leigh was recently appointed Assistant Professor in Communication, Media and Design at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Ms. Leigh obtained a doctorate. in English Rhetoric and Composition from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio; and an MA in English Rhetoric and Writing and a BA in Communication Studies from St. Cloud State University (Minn.).

Qingran Li was recently appointed Assistant Professor of Economics and Financial Studies and Assistant Professor of Environmental Economics and Sustainability at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Ms. Li obtained a doctorate. in environmental policy from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina; a master’s degree in management science and engineering from Stanford University (California); and a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from Hong Kong Baptist University.

Dana McGuire was recently appointed Clinical Associate Professor of Physiotherapy at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Ms. McGuire was previously the Director of Public Health for St. Lawrence County. She got a doctorate. in epidemiology from the University of Rochester; a doctorate in physiotherapy from Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; an MBA from Clarkson University, Potsdam; and a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree in physiotherapy from D’Youville College, Buffalo.

Mohammad Meysami has been appointed assistant professor of mathematics at Clarkson University in Potsdam. He got a doctorate. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Denver, Colorado; and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Indiana University, South Bend, Ind.

Jihoon Seo has been appointed Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University in Potsdam. He got a doctorate. in energy engineering; and a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from Hanyang University, Korea.

Siwen Wang has been appointed Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Ms. Eang obtained a doctorate. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California; and a master’s and bachelor’s degree in environmental science and engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Hongjin Ye has been appointed Assistant Professor of Consumer and Organizational Studies at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Ms. Ye obtained a doctorate. in Marketing with a Graduate Minor in Computer Science from Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and an MA in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management from Columbia College, Chicago, Ill.
